Life is full of changes.
Some changes are bigger than others.
Changes within our sexuality and gender identities, our children’s identities, and our family structure can be stressful and overwhelming.
Other types of transitions, such as changes in career, can be equally difficult to navigate.
The good news is that you are not alone.
Your life transitions can be managed with courage, confidence and optimism.
Connection is important.
It’s totally normal and completely fine to feel confused and unclear about where you’re going. Your path is unique, but it doesn’t mean that you need to figure it out by yourself. Sharing your feelings, getting a different perspective, and talking about your options all help you to gain more clarity.
Perhaps you are questioning your sexuality, or facing a gender transition, or planning to come out to your family, or looking for ways to support a family member for whom these are issues. Or perhaps your transition is of a different type, but equally significant to your identity.
Some people have a support network already in place; others need somebody to connect with. I work with people who are facing identity changes and who simply want to open up in a trusting environment where they can be themselves. Whatever it is, we can work together so that your life transition is able to take its natural course with less stress and anxiety.
Every transition starts with the first step.
